1. Lightweight and easy to transport and install. Thanks to the highly impact-modified raw material, PVC-M pipes have thinner walls and a lighter weight compared to conventional pipes—while maintaining the same pressure rating.
2. Excellent stiffness and toughness: PVC-M pipes not only preserve the elastic modulus of PVC-U pipes but also enhance their flexibility, delivering outstanding impact resistance to withstand external shocks while maintaining strong adaptability to various environmental conditions. The improved resistance to environmental cracking effectively safeguards the pipes against external forces encountered during installation and transportation. Compared to standard PVC-U pipes of the same specification, PVC-M pipes exhibit significantly enhanced impact resistance, enabling them to effectively handle both point loads and uneven ground settlement.
3. Hygienic and environmentally friendly—free from pollution, ensuring high-quality water delivery with no scaling or bacterial growth. The pipes are manufactured using a lead-free formulation, meeting the hygienic performance standards outlined in GB/T 17219-1998 Safety Assessment Criteria, as well as the relevant safety regulations set forth by China’s Ministry of Health.
4. The connection method is simple and reliable. The product can be easily assembled using user-friendly adhesives or elastic sealing rings, ensuring a quick, secure, and sturdy installation.
5. The pipeline requires low operating and maintenance costs. With its thin wall thickness and large flow capacity, the product ensures energy efficiency and minimal resource consumption. PVC-M pipes exhibit a lower hydraulic gradient compared to PVC-U pipes; as a result, at the same factory water pressure, users connected to the network will experience relatively higher water pressure at equivalent points. This not only meets the water pressure demands of more users but also significantly reduces long-term operational expenses. Additionally, the enhanced toughness of the product improves the pipeline's resistance to water hammer, preventing damage during operation and further cutting down on maintenance costs.
6. Corrosion-resistant with a long service life. It boasts excellent chemical corrosion resistance, making it suitable for virtually any application where conventional PVC-U pipes are used. Under normal operating conditions, its lifespan exceeds 50 years.
